In order to run the most accurate Attendance Reports from PowerSchool, we need to audit the items that affect the reports' output which includes the setup for Attendance.

How to check PowerTools for Padded Enrollments
Padded Enrollments are misalignments in a student’s school enrollment start and end date in comparison to their class enrollment(s) start and end date. To check your padded enrollments in PowerTools:
1. On the left hand side menu, click on System under the black heading setup
2. Click on PowerTools under the black heading Data Management
3. Click on Enrollment Report under the black heading Diagnostic Reports
4. Click on Students with Padded School Enrollments
5. Switch the School year to Current Year
If no students appear on the report, no further action is required. If there are students on the report, copy and paste those errors on an excel spreadsheet and send it to the school. If the school enrollment entry and exit dates are correct, then the class enrollment dates would need to be edited to match the school enrollment dates. If the class enrollment entry and exit dates are correct, then the school enrollment dates would need to be edited to match the class enrollment dates.
